3.3 Marketing / Advertising

These are set, only with your consent, by advertising partners to measure and improve our advertising. On our website only, we use advertising tags from Google Ads, Meta (Facebook), and TikTok, managed through Google Tag Manager. When enabled, the Meta tools share data with Meta (in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework), and for this collection and transmission we and Meta act as joint controllers. The current list of marketing/advertising tools in use is always available in Cookie Settings; adding a new partner (for example LinkedIn) will appear there and will likewise require your consent.

4. SPECIFIC TOOLS USED

4.1 Google Analytics 4 (Analytics — cookies require consent)

We use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) to understand how our Service is used — page views, visit duration, approximate location, and device/browser information. 4.2 Advertising tags — Google Ads, Meta (Facebook), TikTok (Marketing — consent required, web only)

Where you consent, advertising tags from Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok help us measure and improve our advertising. Meta tools share data with Meta Platforms, Inc. (United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework); we and Meta act as joint controllers for the collection and transmission of this data. These tags are off by default and fire only after you opt in; you can withdraw consent at any time via Cookie Settings. 4.3 Essential Service Cookies

These are first-party cookies, set by us and readable only on our own domain, that are required for the Service to operate and cannot be switched off. They are used exclusively to keep you signed in, secure the Service (including protection against cross-site request forgery and one-time-password login), remember your basic preferences, and store your cookie consent choices. They do not track you across other websites, are not used for advertising or analytics, and are not shared with third parties. Their lifetimes range from the current browser session up to one year, depending on their function.

We implement your choice using Google Consent Mode v2. Until you consent, all consent signals default to "denied": no analytics or advertising cookies are set, advertising tags from Meta and TikTok do not run at all, and Google tags may send only limited, cookieless, aggregated signals (without persistent identifiers) that Google uses for privacy-preserving statistical modeling. When you accept, the signals for the categories you chose switch to "granted" and the corresponding tools activate.

7. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

We store your data using secure cloud infrastructure, primarily in the EU region:

  • Hosting & file/blob storage: Vercel
  • CDN & private object storage: Cloudflare (including R2)
  • Database: PlanetScale (EU region)
  • Cache / queue: Upstash (Redis, EU region)
  • Security: all data is encrypted in transit and at rest

Some of these providers are established in the United States; where personal data is transferred outside the EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework), as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our business practices.
