Skill assessments are free. Courses run on a subscription, and one subscription gives you access to any course; you'll see the current pricing displayed in the app. On mobile, pricing and payment are handled through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payments are secure, and we never store your credit card details.
Yes. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers: on the web through Stripe, and on mobile through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Kampster never stores your credit card details.
If you subscribed through the web app, cancel anytime from your account settings. If you subscribed through the mobile app, cancel from your device's subscription settings: on iPhone via Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions, on Android via the Play Store → Subscriptions.
You can delete your account anytime from your account settings.

Yes. If you already know the basics of where you were placed, tell your AI tutor where you'd like to start and it will help reorganize your starting point in the curriculum.
This happens if your time ran out or you switched tabs / lost focus. You can retake the assessment once its cooldown allows; the retake rule is shown on the skill's page.
Your learning habit is a strength score from 1 to 10. Each day you finish at least one lesson counts as one repetition and moves the score toward 10; extra lessons on the same day do not multiply it. Missed completed days soften the score gradually instead of breaking a streak, so the focus stays on returning and maintaining the habit.
Yes. Each completed day without a lesson gently softens the score toward its 1-point foundation. It never collapses because of one missed day, and every new day with a finished lesson starts strengthening it again.
Regular practice builds the habit fastest, but we don't count streaks, so missing one day does not erase your progress. Your strength eases down gradually on completed inactive days and starts growing again the next day you finish a lesson.
When you need something specific on short notice, you can create a "fast-track" lesson in your course. For example, if you're learning Spanish and have a business meeting tomorrow, tell your AI tutor what's coming up and it will prepare you for it.
You can create practice sessions to strengthen a specific concept. For example, while learning AI prompt engineering, you could practice specifically on writing better prompts for email communication.
Yes. Each lesson builds on the one before it. Kampster uses your assessment and course performance to personalize what comes next, including reinforcement where you need it.
We're built for full AI transparency, in line with relevant laws. Below each course lesson, and on assessment questions, you'll see a declaration of how it was made.
All our materials are grounded in specific content; we don't let the AI invent things, which keeps hallucinations to a minimum. There's always some residual risk, so double-check anything important.
