Looking for Japanese Language for your business?
Explained in 15 languages
The interface, Kai’s guidance, and grammar explanations adapt to your language. You can focus on Japanese without first translating confusing instructions.
Why Japanese courses get abandoned
Romaji became a crutch
You recognize phrases in an app, then freeze when a menu, sign, or message uses hiragana, katakana, and kanji.
Grammar stayed theoretical
You learned particles and verb forms but did not practice choosing them during a real conversation.
Listening feels too fast
Careful classroom audio makes sense. Natural speech blends together before you can identify the words.
The lessons stopped fitting
Generic courses repeat what you know, miss your weak points, and leave you stuck at the same level.
Your path to Japanese mastery
Choose the description closest to you. A two-minute placement will confirm your level and skip skills you can already demonstrate.
Where is your Japanese today?
Today
You may know a greeting or two, but hiragana, sentence order, and spoken Japanese are new.
In 1 month
With a daily five-minute habit, a realistic target is early A1: reading core kana and forming short polite sentences.
At mastery
You communicate at C2 across casual, academic, literary, and high-stakes professional settings with precise register and nuance.
Take the short placement and begin with the gaps that matter.
How Kampster works
Your course keeps adapting beyond each plateau until you reach the top of the proficiency scale.

Inside each lesson
Reading, listening, speaking, and recall work together in short sessions grounded in real situations.
Pronunciation with instant feedback
Say greetings, requests, verb forms, and full sentences aloud. Get immediate guidance on sounds, rhythm, and clarity.
Conversations with Kai
Roleplay ordering at a café, asking for directions, visiting a clinic, making small talk, or using keigo in a meeting.
Songs and lyrics
Work through Japanese lyrics to notice vocabulary, contractions, rhythm, and grammar in memorable context.
Adjustable listening drills
Slow down unfamiliar dialogue, identify what you missed, then raise the speed toward natural Japanese.
Graded Japanese stories
Read material matched to your level, from kana-based scenes to texts using advanced grammar and kanji.
Vocabulary that returns on time
Review words, counters, kanji readings, and expressions shortly before you are likely to forget them.
Built around your Japanese
Kampster uses your performance and goals to decide what should come next—not a fixed calendar.
The Kampster engine
Your demonstrated gaps
The engine distinguishes between recognition and usable skill, then focuses on weak kana, grammar, kanji, listening, or speaking.
Your memory pattern
Vocabulary and kanji return when you need reinforcement instead of repeating on an arbitrary schedule.
Your questions and corrections
Kai explains a particle, retries a dialogue, or gives another example without rushing or judging you.
Your real situations
Travel, study, friendships, media, or professional goals shape the examples and roleplays you receive.

A lesson for the situation ahead
Create a focused lesson in about 30 seconds. Rehearse ordering ramen, explaining an allergy, asking about a delayed train, writing a polite work email, or introducing yourself at a language exchange.
Whatever’s coming up — the lesson exists before your coffee’s ready.
Questions, answered
No. The course begins at A0 and includes dedicated hiragana and katakana modules. If you already know kana, the placement can skip material you demonstrate confidently.
A roughly two-minute placement identifies your current level. You do not have to restart with greetings or kana if your assessment shows that you can already use them.
Five minutes is enough to maintain a consistent daily habit and complete one focused lesson. Over a month, that is about two and a half hours of active practice. Your progress depends on your starting point, consistency, and the skills being learned.
Yes. You can speak aloud, receive instant feedback, and roleplay conversations with Kai. Practice can cover casual exchanges, travel situations, workplace interactions, presentations, and keigo.
The curriculum includes B1 integration aligned with JLPT N3-level reading and listening, plus C1 integration covering JLPT N1 format and content. It also develops speaking and writing, which the JLPT does not directly test.
The certificate is earned by demonstrating assessed Japanese skills. It is verifiable and shareable, so it represents capability rather than videos watched or time spent in the course.
