KAMPSTER REFUND POLICY

1. GENERAL REFUND POLICY

1.1 Free Trial and Free Plan Access

Kampster provides all prospective users with free plan access and, where available, free trial access to our platform, allowing you to experience our educational content, AI-powered learning system, and platform features before making any purchase decision. We strongly encourage all users to thoroughly explore and evaluate the Service through the free plan or free trial to ensure it meets your educational needs and expectations.

1.2 Default Refund Policy

Subscription purchases made on the Kampster platform are generally non-refundable once the subscription is activated and the Service has been accessed.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and expressly agree that:

  1. You have had adequate opportunity to evaluate the Service through our free plan or free trial access
  2. You understand the nature, features, and limitations of the subscription you are purchasing
  3. Our Service provides immediate access to digital educational content upon purchase
  4. The nature of digital content makes it impossible to "return" knowledge or content already accessed

2. LIMITED REFUND ELIGIBILITY (FIRST-TIME SUBSCRIBERS)

2.1 Eligibility Criteria

Kampster may issue a refund for a subscription purchase if all of the following conditions are met:

  1. First-time subscription only: You have never previously held a paid subscription on Kampster (free plan and free trial usage do not count)
  2. No usage after purchase: You have not accessed any premium content, started any courses, used any AI tutoring sessions, or taken any assessments since the subscription was activated
  3. Requested within 30 days: Your refund request is submitted within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date
  4. Not a renewed subscription: The charge is for your initial subscription period, not an automatic renewal

2.2 Non-Eligible Scenarios

Refunds under this section will NOT be granted if:

  • You have accessed any premium content or features after subscribing
  • More than 30 calendar days have passed since the purchase date
  • The charge is for an automatic renewal of an existing subscription (you must cancel before the renewal date to avoid charges)
  • You have previously received a refund from Kampster
  • You are requesting a refund for a subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (see Section 4)

2.3 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund under this section:

  1. Contact our support team at help@kampster.com within 30 days of your purchase
  2. Include the email address associated with your Kampster account
  3. Include your purchase date and subscription plan
  4. Our team will verify your eligibility and respond within 5 business days

If eligible, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

3. MANDATORY CONSUMER RIGHTS (EU/EEA/SWITZERLAND RESIDENTS)

3.1 Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer habitually residing in the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland, you have a statutory right to withdraw from distance contracts within 14 days, subject to the exceptions below.

CRITICAL NOTICE FOR EU/EEA/SWITZERLAND RESIDENTS:

When you purchase a subscription from Kampster, you are required to provide express consent to immediate performance and delivery of the digital content. By completing your purchase and accessing the digital content, you:

  1. Expressly request immediate access to the digital educational content and services
  2. Acknowledge that such immediate access results in the loss of your statutory right of withdrawal
  3. Understand that once you begin accessing the digital content, you forfeit your right to withdraw from the purchase

This waiver is necessary because digital content cannot be "returned" once accessed, and our Service provides immediate access upon purchase completion.

3.3 Exercise of Right of Withdrawal (Where Not Waived)

In the unlikely event that you have not yet accessed any digital content and have not waived your right of withdrawal, you may exercise this right by contacting us within 14 days of your purchase. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must send an unequivocal statement to:

4. IN-APP PURCHASES (APPLE APP STORE & GOOGLE PLAY STORE)

4.1 Platform-Managed Refunds

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are billed and managed by the respective platform. Kampster does not directly process refunds for purchases made through these platforms.

4.2 Limitation

The limited refund eligibility described in Section 2 applies only to subscriptions purchased directly through our website (https://kampster.com) via Stripe. For subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google, you must follow the respective platform's refund process as described above.

5. CANCELLATION OF SUBSCRIPTIONS

5.1 Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel any active subscription at any time. How you cancel depends on where you subscribed:

  • Apple App Store: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iOS device
  • Google Play Store: Google Play Store > Subscriptions on your Android device
  • Web (Stripe): Account settings at https://kampster.com or by contacting help@kampster.com

Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
  • You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
  • No refund will be provided for the unused portion of your current billing period (unless eligible under Section 2)
  • You will retain access to subscription benefits until the end of the paid period

5.2 Cancellation Deadline

To avoid being charged for the next billing period, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of your current billing period. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before renewal may not prevent the next charge.

6. EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES

6.1 Case-by-Case Review

Beyond the limited refund eligibility in Section 2, Kampster recognizes that exceptional circumstances may occasionally arise. In such cases, users may contact our support team to request consideration of their specific situation.

6.2 Request Process

If you believe your situation constitutes an exceptional circumstance:

  1. Contact our support team at help@kampster.com
  2. Provide a detailed explanation of your specific circumstances
  3. Include your purchase information and account details
  4. Our team will review and respond within 5 business days

6.3 Sole Discretion

All exceptional circumstance requests are reviewed entirely at Kampster's sole discretion. We reserve the right to deny any request for any reason beyond what is legally required.

7. PAYMENT DISPUTES

7.1 Unauthorized Charges

If you believe a charge was made to your payment method without your authorization, you must notify us immediately at help@kampster.com. We will investigate all reports of unauthorized charges promptly.

7.2 Billing Errors

If you identify a billing error (such as being charged an incorrect amount), please contact us at help@kampster.com within 30 days of the charge. We will investigate and correct any confirmed billing errors.

7.3 Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us at help@kampster.com before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider. Filing a chargeback without first contacting Kampster may result in the suspension or termination of your account.
